The Delhi Police has arrested a gang of cyber criminals actively operating on classified ads platforms like Olx. The cyber team in Vivek Vihar busted the gang after a victim complained of losing Rs 71,949 while using Olx to buy a used car. Scams on platforms like Olx, Quikr and others have been taking place for some time now. Even some well-educated citizens residing in big cities have reportedly fallen for such scams. Note that these scams have nothing to do with the platforms like Olx and Quikr per se.
